Ms. Mariaelena Orozco has, in part, fulfilled her life dreams by opening the La Cocina Michoacána Mexican and Seafood restaurant.
This restaurant is overseen by her, the owner and general manager, but is very much a family operation. Her Mother, Virginia Perez, serves as chief, or the head, Chef, backed up by her Aunt Mireya Perez who serves as second cook. These two are supported and supplemented by another family member who has joined the team…Noe Orozco, the oldest of two brothers, a man of many talents, is now serving as an additional cook.
Three sisters, Noemy, Ivette, and Ady Orozco, along with Mariaelena, do the serving of customers. They also work as cashiers, help in the kitchen as prep cooks or in the case of Mariaelena who also cooks, put up orders for takeout and deliveries; this all they do, plus whatever, as is needed.
A few days back, even Grandma, Gregoria Perez was seen sweeping the floor during the end of the day cleanup.

It is the intentions of Mariaelena, of the Cooks and of the Staff at La Cocina Michoacána’s Authentic Homemade Mexican and Seafood restaurant to provide the most authentic, the most homemade like, the most delicious of Mexican and Sea Foods, with the most friendly and efficient service of any restaurant in the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan area.
