THIS MUST GO AT THE TOP OF THE LIST ON OUR TESTIMONIES PAGE, ALTHOUGH IT WAS NOT SPOKEN OR WRITTEN NOTHING COULD EVER BE SAID PRONOUNCING MORE PRAISE OF OUR MEXICAN FOOD.

Most restaurants, including the one being referenced give their employees one or more free meals per shift while they are on duty. On several occasions, the La Cocina Michoacana restaurant has had as guest, employees of a Mexican Food Restaurant (name on request) here in the Valley.

Recently, we were very surprised when a phone call was received from them, ordering three meals, requesting delivery to the location where they were on duty that day.

One or two days after opening, a young man came in, ordered, ate, and upon paying, said with heavily watering eyes, “This meal was just like my Mother use to make me.”   He too is from the state of Michoacana.                  That young man (name on request) is now our most regular customer.

A customer stopped a few days after we opened; upon departing after leaving a generous tip asked, “Do you happen to have a restaurant in Mesa?”  Stating that we did not, he further said, “I stopped by after seeing you, but I don’t get out this way very often.   The food was so good that I was hoping to eat it often, but I will be back sometime.”

A couple, man and wife, came in; she ordered a Taco Salad, he the number 2 Combination Dinner (two Enchiladas).  As they were paying, she said to Ivette, “I’ve been to other Mexicans Restaurants and had Taco Salads before, I swear to God, never as good as this, I have never had one like this. I could not keep him out of it, even after he wolfed down his dinner.”  (name on request.)     

...the food was very good, liked everything I had. Would be even better with a DOSEQIS.(beer) But I know it's in the process (name, on request).

A gentleman came in this morning and bought five tacos to go, paid for them and departed. 
A couple of hours later returned with his wife, and said, “I went to the carwash,” (two buildings down from us) “With the tacos I bought and eat them all before I finished the car.  They were so good that I was actually shocked.  When I arrived home, I told the wife how good they were, and now I am back for more and for her to try.”  Leaving, the second time he added, “Your food is really astounding.  We will definitely be back” (name on request.)

We have, on our tables, a ‘Report Card’ where we ask our Customers to rate us in the following categories:  Quality of Food; Temperature of Food; Quantity of Food; Appearance of Food; Service;  in addition we ask for Comments. Names are Optional.

‘Grades’ are on a scale of: Poor; Fair; Average; Good; Excellent; and The Best Ever.
